Post by: Ankita Patel on October 02, 2017, 09:00:32 pm
Dear Friends

Sorry if I am asking a dumb question. But nowadays I am listening 'Hatch Embroidery' word too frequently. What is this Hatch Embroidery? Is this a new Embroidery Software or Type of Embroidery Design?

No, this is not a dumb question and here in this category, all types of questions are allowed. So, you and your questions are most welcomed. Now, coming back to your answer.

Hatch is an Embroidery Digitizing software recently launched by Wilcom. Yes, it is an another digitizing software launched by Wilcom.
You can found the same in details at below link

So, it is not a type of embroidery design. It is an embroidery digitizing software by Wilcom. If you want then you can even try out the trail version of the Hatch Embroidery Digitizing Software.

Sorry for reviving this, Shristi, but as I've already mentioned in my intro, I'm looking for a proper digitizer. Now I'm choosing between Embird, BuzzEdit and Hatch. According to wiki, they're pretty similar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_embroidery_software) - at least technically (there's a comparison).
But as for beginner, I'm looking for the a soft which is as friendly software as possible. Also the price is crucial.
So between these (https://sewingland.org/best-embroidery-software/), which might be the easiest to explore? I've already tried the Embird, but it have so much options that's even confusing. Or maybe you can recommend any good tutorials?

Also, it seems like your link to a trial version is not working anymore.

Thanks in advance!
