Hi everyone;

It is know fact that almost every digitizing software are not providing the thumbnail view options for the designs. It became very difficult for all of us to categorize the designs. Every time we has to open the designs to identify the same.It would be a great help if it is possible to have the thumbnail view of the designs with out opening it.

This can be only achieved by purchasing the software that allow thumbnail view options or taking the image of the designs while saving the design. Let us discuss the both possibilities one by one

1) What is the best way to have a picture for the file to look at later when saving a design?

Yes, you can take the image of designs and saved the same along with the designs. This will help you in easily identifying  or categorizing the designs in future. For this, you do not require the separate digitizing software. This is the inbuilt features of the all digitizing software. So, you can easily take the image of the designs and saved it.

Not having any digitizing software?

No problem. There are many free software available in the market that will help you in taking image of the design. One of the software that include image features is Wilcom True Sizer.

Download Wilcom True sizer at free of cost and you can easily rotate, resize, convert and take the image of the design.

Stitchbuddy is another software which provide the same features at free of cost.

You can even save the image directly from the website from where you had purchased the designs. Just simply right click on the image and save the image by clicking on Save Image as options.

Do not forget to check the ZIP file before taking the image. Now a days almost every website is providing the image file zipped in the ZIP file.

2) Purchasing the digitizing software that allow thumbnail view options for the designs.

I know there are very few option but there are the few software that allow this features like PE Next Design, 5D,6D Software etc.

Note: The above suggestion is based on our experience. Request to please refer the features of the software completely at their official website before purchasing the same.
