Ingredients: Poha (rice flakes) - 2 or 3 cups Oil - 2 tea spoon Whole Dry Red Chili - 1 Cutted Potato, Tomato & Onion - approx 100 or 150 gm Salt, Asofoetida, tumeric, Lemon Juice, Green Chili, Peanuts, and Sugar - As per Taste Coriander Leaves- chopped one ( FOR GRANISHING)
How to Cook
Heat oil on medium heat
Add some mustard seeds and wait till it get pop up
Add Dry Red Chili, Asafoetida, Turmeric Powder, Curry Leaves and Peanuts.
Cook the Ingredients to be cooked for around 2 to 3 minutes so that peanuts get cooked properly.
Add potato, onion and tomato and cooked it properly for another 2 to 3 minute.
At the same times, simultaneously risen the rice flakes from water. Make sure that water is completely drain out from the bowl after risen the flakes.
Once you have drained the water out of bowl completely, just mix the flakes gently through hand to break lumps of flakes created due to Poha (flakes)
Garnish with chopped Cilantro and serve it hot.
Additional: To make it more tasty, you can add case-nuts,lemon juice, Frutis Chaat Masala and Beet over it . Of course, you can even add cheese over the Poha ( rice flakes) to make more tasty and cheesy...... Yummy......... :-*
